Asha Bhosle’s daughter commits suicide

Varsha Bhosle, daughter of playback singer Asha Bhosle, committed suicide at their Peddar Road residence here in Mumbai on Monday. Varsha, 56, shot herself in the head, police said. The incident occurred around 12.30 p.m. Police have arrived on the spot and are investigating. No suicide note has been found from the spot yet. According to police, Varsha pumped two rounds into herself.
