We thought it would be a good idea to “relive the classics from the past” with a video and / or lyrics of a classic movie or song. And what better way to start, than with the first blockbuster of the decade? On January 14th 2000, against tough competition with Aamir Khan’s Mela, a medium budget – moderately hyped film, Kaho Na Pyar Hai released, which many believed to be just another love story made to launch yet another star son, that would fizzle 2 weeks after release.  But Hrithik had other plans and what followed will be etched in the memory of every Bollywood fan of the era. A mega superstar was born and the craze was unbelievable something never witnessed before. The star, just a film old, commanded most brand endorsements, was on every director’s wish-list, made it to the cover of most magazines, was compared with every other established superstar.. and it was just the beginning of, what people call the Hrithik Mania.
