PK has rocked the North America box office, recorded the highest 2-day collections in the history of Indian Cinema. Aamir Khan is quickly emerging as the biggest crowd-puller in the United States Of America and Canada, as his latest release has collected Rs 15.07 crore ($2.38 million) in 2 days.

PK Sunday Collections: Box Office Update

PK is going super strong at the box office today. The morning and noon shows, at most centres, had higher occupancy than both Friday and Saturday. The advance booking for the evening and night shows is excellent too.

PK Second Day Collections: Outstanding at the box office!

PK has managed to show huge growth in business on its second day at the box office. The Aamir Khan starrer has recorded the 2nd highest Saturday collections of 2014 (behind Happy New Year’s Rs 31.6 crore). The film is set for a strong first weekend at the box office and is expected to hold steady Monday onwards too. PK is also likely to take advantage of the Christmas holiday on Thursday. Aamir Khan’s PK has collected around 27-28 crore (approx) on its opening day at the box office, as per estimates based on collections from a few centres. The film has done well at multiplexes in cities, but the response was average at mass-centres. PK has collected Rs 1.38 cr in Rajasthan, while C.I collections are around 0.96 crore (96 lakhs). C.P is likely to be around 1.15 crore. 

PK Box Office Opening

PK has opened to near full houses at multiplexes across the country on Friday. The early morning shows opened slow, some multiplexes were as low as 30-35% for shows that start at 8:30 in the morning, but as the day progressed, premium multiplexes were recording 100% collections.
